How it started

To be blunt: we dislike bad music. Sadly, we hear a lot of it out there. After many chats with filmmakers and creative directors, we saw the need for a fresh approach to the
dusty old world of royalty-free music. Our goal is simple:
Great Music at Affordable Prices

Along the way, we re-envisioned pricing, licensing, and artist partnerships, not to mention the diversity of styles in our catalogue. The result is beautiful, versatile soundtracks for all who want to tell their
story with great music. CHEERS!

Artisanal

All SONICITY soundtracks feature top-notch musicians performing in a wide range of styles. Every piece is thoughtfully composed or improvised, arranged, recorded, and edited.
Recording sessions take place in premier concert halls.

Locally Sourced

Based in Minneapolis, SONICITY works with the best musicians in the Twin Cities. We're thrilled to live and work amongst this thriving arts scene, and we're proud to feature our amazing talent.

Fair Trade

SONICITY fosters long-term partnerships with musicians and composers, with a plan to offer ownership stakes and profit-sharing to our artistic partners.
